Kingston Plains - Stag's Leap District Merlot The great fire destroyed Chicago as we know from our history lessons, but, the wood that was used to rebuild was taken from what is now called the Kingston Plains. It traveled down the log slide and into Lake Superior before moving down the coast to Lake Michigan and the Chicago Harbor. Our Merlot is medium-bodied with soft tannins, and would be perfect for those fireside stories. $10.50 per bottle - Excellent with beef tenderloin or prime rib. |
